NEED website Mascot! Friendly looking, magical, shopping assitant / sidekick

"Zake" is the name of the mascot, of what will be a global (US market initially) shopping website. The theme of the website is that Zake is your buddy, your guardian, hes your shopping sidekick so to speak. The will sell all types of goods similar to Amazon.

We are intially in need of a mascot, then logo at some later point. We where thinking of a cartoon or fictional character.We where thinking this to not be a human like character that way it isn't offensive to anyone and he won't be gender / race / or culture specific. Kind of like expedia has the nome. (But we think he is kinda creepy!) But he is the magical travel assistant and is very recognizable. We are very open to friendly looking magical beings. ie.genie, gaurdian angel, wizard, nome(friendly looking!), etc etc etc
