Humorous/funny/upbeat (but NOT goofy/cartoony/or crude) publishing books of stories for academic audience.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a graphic of a column from the White House (U.S. presidential mansion) that is chipped open (as if with a chisel or a spade or something) to reveal a POLE (like a metal fireman's pole) that goes down (as if we could slide down it and end up in a secret basement.) We do not see the base of the pole.
Please add one red stiletto (a woman's high heel shoe) dangling from inside of column.
This will be a graphic in a short story about a boy who chips open the White House column to discover a pole that leads to a secret basement under the White House. In the story there is a woman's red high heel shoe dangling from the inside of the column by the heel.
(FYI - there is nothing political in this story.)
Please feel free to use your imaginations!
I've done a couple of these contests before-one quite recently. I'll be better this time about responding to questions, and I'll make the entries visible, not hidden. Thanks!
(Again - this is not for web, this is for print. The book will by 8 x 11 or something like that. Coffee table book size.)
* Nothing dark, scary, or gloomy (e.g., no black stormy background)
* Nothing "cartoonish." It's a funny story, but it's not a goofy story.
