Scientific Graphic for Published Paper on Brain Cells

Medical & Pharmaceutical
My research group has written a scientific paper and we need a figure made that will be included in the published manuscript. The paper is about a type of brain cell called 'microglia' and how this cell type may be abnormal in certain brain disorders. The paper we have written describes ways the cell is abnormal, and the figure is supposed to be a graphical summary of the text.
What's your vision?
We have sketched out basically what it is we want done in the attachment. It would be great if you can google some of the terms below and look at other images of these cells so that you can create them to be more realistic looking than what we were able to draw. I will describe what is shown in the attachement: - the center image is a resting microglial cell. Inside of it we are attempting to show its genome. There is an 'X' to indicate that we are proposing that the genome of the microglial cell is abnormal/mutated-- any creative way of showing this that is better than the X would be appreciated. - surrounding the microglial cell are 4 other mechanisms that we discuss in our paper abnormal microglial cells may be contributing to (labelled A-D). I will describe each separately now. - "A" in top left corner: this is attempting to show a microglial cell secreting proteins called 'tropic factors' that basically are molecules that help neurons to grow. The other cell is a growing neuron that is receiving the tropic factor as nutrition. - "B" in the top right corner: this is attempting to show that microglial cells help to shape neural networks. Neural networks are neurons wiring up together in the brain. There will be many good images of neural networks or neuron networks in google, and we want to show that microglia are basically 'sculpting' the development of these networks but that abnormal microglia cause the networks to form incorrectly. - "C" in the bottom right corner: this is showing a microglial cell causing a neuron to undergo apoptosis. This basically means the microglial cells engulfs the neuron and eats it - "D" in the bottom left corner: this is showing an 'activated microglia' (which there are many good pictures of in google), which is like an angry/inflammed cell. It is showing that when the microglia become activated it secretes a different kind of protein (like in "A") called cytokines, which basically cause inflammation in the brain. Note: please include the A-D letters in either Aerial or Times New Roman font in the actual graphic as we will refer to them in the figure legend.
Please attempt to improve upon what we have drawn by googling the various cell types described, as there are many good illustrations online. Color is needed and can stay similar to what is depicted or you can use your discretion. If you would like we would be happy to give you attribution in our published scientific manuscript if your work is chosen. The following file formats but be strictly adhered to: - Format: TIFF or JPEG - Color Mode: RGB or Bitmap - Resolution: 900 - 1200 dpi
