A Gothic book about a sympathetic vampire
What's your vision?
Marcella is a young vampire (about 20) who is held captive by the human victims of her evil mother. She was raised by those humans and taught to hate herself because of her mother's sins. Marcella is who you will illustrate, and you have the choice to illustrate her with one of these three backgrounds: 1. Inside a "fun house" peaking out a window like the type you would find in a state fair, her expression grim. The funhouse looks very flashy and modern. 2. In a forest, with stars falling around her. 3. In a palace, with dead bodies all around her. UPDATE: I'm going to be honest with you, the funhouse one has the best chance of winning...at least that's what I think without having seen any of the illustrations. It's possible that there's a crappy or mediocre funhouse entry and an excellent forest entry, so of course I would reward the forest one in that case. But if I have three excellent illustrations of the three scenarios, then I'll probably go with funhouse. So in that spirit, let me describe the fun house in greater detail: The funhouse looks very modern and flashy, like something that would be in a state fair for children - like a house of mirrors. The house is different colors, but bright scarlet dominates, and there are neon lights at the top naming the funhouse Punching House. There might be anime drawings on the house of buff men with wild haircuts, but that might be too much. Marcilla is peeking out of one of the windows...and the funhouse, despite looking like it should be in a fair, is in a forest.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Redemption Arc collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
I chose three designs as the winners, one of which was Zenshins. The reason I chose the design was that I felt it was the most professional in appearance. In a private poll conducted amongst my peers, the design rated among the top three and helped influence my decision, which was a very difficult one. The changes requested were acted on by Zenshin promptly. One recommendation that I have for all designers is to provide daily updates, even if just a quick note of the progress they are making.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
