Make Funny and Trendy the Local Good & Quality Food

"Le Cercle des Gourmets" (means "Gourmet Society" in French) is a food e-commerce website (deli) which will be launched by the end of the year. Our goal is to propose to initiated gourmets traditional products. The market position and values are: - Products: high quality, traditional, with natural ingredients and with a strong regional (or national) identity - Values: promote local makers and producers, promote a sustainable and responsible way of eating good food - Convey: the feeling of being part of a community, a gourmet society. - Approach: slightly fun and with humor - Design: clean, clear and elegant. The identity should be easily recognizable.

We need to design a mascot which will make our deli website concept funny and trendy. The mascot is foreseen to be a smart and nice guy, with a long and thin mustache, slim, dressed with a suit, a toque and a bow tie. He needs to look funny, trendy and gourmet. We are looking for having this mascot in 6 different pictures and situations : 1. In front of a map of France (looking for the best traditional food products) 2. With a bag/box full of nice and healthy and good selected products (we sell delicatessen, preserves, sauces, foie gras, spices, honey, jam, cakes, chocolates, oil,...) 3. With local producer(s) in front of a farm, in the wild, selecting the best quality and natural products by respecting the local producers work 4. Cooking for children (we will make donations to associations fighting starvation) 5. Transporting food products (delivery): by driving a vespa or a solex (moped) with a trailer, or in a small and funy van with selected food in the trailer 6.
