We plan to sell our product to parents of young children to help them teach their young children life lessons through our stories. Our product is also a good tool to help parents engage with their children during mealtime.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like an incredibly colorful and engaging illustration for the story included below to appeal to a young child audience ages 2-7. I am trying to replace the ipad here with this product so I really am looking for something that will strike the child's attention and keep them engaged. I would like there to be a lot of detail in the back ground and hidden small items or whimsical objects so the more the child looks at the illustration, the more he or she will find. I would love the feeling of the illustration to be emotionally connecting to a child in a whimsical way. The expressions on the faces of the characters should be food for thought and something to talk about. Would love for the illustration to give the child a GREAT feeling inside and want to know about what happens in the story. This basically needs to be a conversational piece. Have fun with it. And add in your spunk! Feel free to make the characters and objects and setting should be "out of the ordinary". This needs to be in 8 x 11 size. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Once upon a time there lived deep in the forest amongst tallest trees, Jeannie giraffe. Since Jeannie Giraffe was very very tall, it was easy for her to reach big trees and eat the leaves from them. Giraffes are the tallest animals in the forest and it made Jeannie feel so special that out of all her animal friends, she was the only one who could reach the top of the tree without having to climb!
But Jeanne had a problem, when she would ask her mommy for things, a lot of times her mommy wouldn’t answer her. Jeannie used to think to herself “maybe she doesn’t hear me or maybe I should talk louder, or maybe I should talk faster” SOO This is how she spoke-(in an terrible voice) "mommmmyyyyyy im thirsstyyyyy" or "mommmyyyyy I want to gooooo alreaddyyy" or "maaaaaa heelpppppp I can't reach my leaves on this super tall tree !!!" But her mommy still wouldn't answer or wouldn't hear her. That made Jeannie really sad.
One time she was saying "mommmmmmmmyyyy I'm looking for my doll!!" and suddenly a fairy bee came buzzing by and said "hey Jeannie did you ever try using your magic Voice?" , "what's a magic Voice? " said Jeannie. " it's your VERY nice voice that you use when you want to ask for something - it always works! Try it!" ... so Jeannie giraffe says (in a super nice voice) "mommy, can you please get me water? I'm thirsty? " ..."of course Jeannie!!! Her mommy said right away!! When you ask me like that of course I can help!". Ever since then Jeannie knew the trick- she knew she had to use her magic voice whenever she wanted something and it really worked! Her mommy listened to her and answered her when she would speak in her magic voice.
These are some styles that I loved , but I am open to anything that kids would LOVE!
