Bellum is a TV Production and Distribution company specializing in non-fiction programming.

What's your vision?

A Logo Concept for new Comedy Clip TV series called: Crazy Wheels CRAZY WHEELS is a fast-paced, fun and full throttle 30-minute, narrated clip show that features all the hilarious things that happen on wheels. From cars and motorcycles to bikes and scooters, catch the world’s most amazing stunts, ridiculous fender benders, and harmless accidents all in one show. The logo is the starting point and will later need to be animated, so all of the layered files will need to be used. To see some of our current logos, please go to www.bellument.com. Please take the following into account when designing the logo: The series will be for a wide audience, so the logo should be strong and hard-hitting, but also fun – without pandering and being cartoonish. Since each episode will feature clips from all kinds of wheels – cars, bicycles, motorcycles, semi-trucks, tow trucks, ATV’s, monster trucks, scooters, rollerblades, etc… - the logo needs to encompass a wide variety of wheel “fails”.

“Mt Zion Kids” Homepage illustration
The main work of “Mt Zion Kids” is to organize activities for children. The request was to design an image to be placed at the top zone of their Homepage, to catch the attention of the viewers and also to represent what they do. Although they had a lot of photos of their activities, it was decided to create an illustration, in order to avoid showing pictures of real kids for safety reasons. The groups of children in the illustration show some of the activities that are developed in this place. My main objective was to give very happy face expressions to the characters, as well as a vibrant color scheme, to convey a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. The process started by sketching each group of characters in paper. Then, they were all placed together in Adobe Illustrator, where the drawing was created with just black strokes. The final stage was entirely made in Photoshop, adding all the colors, lights, effects and the background landscape.

Act Normal
Low High Album Design 2017 _______ Brazilian punk band Low High sought imaginative, divergent packaging for their sophomore album "Act Normal." The compositions on the cover and inside booklet reflect themes discussed on the album including heartbreak, impatience, displacement and self-discovery. I wanted each collage to feel unsettling and unusual. My own handwriting is used all through the packaging to help humanize the design and soften its eccentricity.
