Illustration art direction for tech startup

Lexer is a technology startup who helps retailers understand more about their customers.
What's your vision?
Hello, We're undergoing a bit of a facelift here at Lexer and would love to introduce some new illustrations to help describe some consumer segments that out customers talk about all the time. Things like "Yoga loving female", "greying couple", "young family of three", "guy with gadgets", "single mother". We can provide a complete list, but the primary goal of this project is to create the visual style that will set the foundation for upwards of 15-20 individual illustrations for our website, presentations and products. You don't have to look far for examples of illustration used on tech startup sites - it's usually used in lieu of cheesy stock photography. For us, we're hoping to determine a new illustration style. Something colourful, geometric, bold, and human - to offset our otherwise "tech and data" feel of old. I've attached a few files to get the juices flowing on the style we're hoping to achieve. There are three in particular that are important: 1. Sample Composition: This is my ideal style - have the human illustration with a background of tech and data flow, feel free to toss this away and try something different, but I like the idea of having a background we can leverage when talking about technology, and a human to leverage when talking about people 2. Colour System: our color palette - the illustrations should try and use the secondary palette as much as possible as our site and hub is a bit "teal overload" 3. Icons: Our current collection of icons - primarily used at a small scale in our data dashboard, would be great to follow this style through in the composition The deliverable is an illustration with a Fitness-loving Female and Cool Dude, with a "techy" background As suggested earlier, we'd love to work with the winning designer to produce a collection of additional illustrations along the same theme - just different people in different situations. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Great work. Stefan clearly listened to our brief and took the time to understand our goals. He was quick to respond to revisions and was easy to communicate and collaborate with.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
