We're working on a kids educational app. We need a pair of mascots. Girl and boy bears.
There will be a young kid app, and slightly older kid app. So we'd like to have two ages of each bear: cub and 'teenager'.
We also need the bears in two stances. One where they are sitting, or on all fours (whichever looks better), and one where they are standing and waving, or dancing.
So for this project we need 8 total graphics:
1 - Boy bear cub sitting or on all fours
2 - Girl bear cub sitting or on all fours
3 - Boy bear cub standing and waving or dancing
4 - Girl bear cub standing and waving or dancing
5 - Boy 'teenager' bear sitting or on all fours
6 - Girl 'teenager' bear sitting or on all fours
7 - Boy 'teenager' bear standing and waving or dancing
8 - Girl 'teenager' bear standing and waving or dancing
I'd prefer that the girl and boy bears stances aren't the same. If one is sitting, I'd like the other on all fours. If one is standing and waving, I'd like the other to be dancing.
The rest of the app will likely be stylized to match the bears. I plan on having a forest backdrop for one view, and a birds eye view of bear tracks on a forest trail for another.
Be colorful, and use whatever style you think is best. Cartoony is good, but not too silly.
Vector images are required. Adobe Illustrator format if possible, if it's difficult, that's okay.
They will need to be big enough to take up a retina iPad screen 2048px tall, and 1536px wide.
Also, here is an example of a teenage bear that I like a lot. It's a disney character named Baloo from Jungle Cubs. http://cl.ly/0d1i1H2F3w450k293e3n
We still need a cub aged bear and a teenage bear. But this should give you an idea of the personification, and coloring we'd like to see.
