How Jsa542 started their illustration or graphics journey
Who are you known as?
I Want What It's Worth
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a startup that pay people "what it's worth" for their preowned jewelry.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
You will be designing an illustrated banner for this website: https://iwantwhatitsworth.com/
Look at the image attached (“banner B”)
The X marked spot is what you are redesigning.
Above the X there are 2 banners (a hero banner and what we will call “Banner A”)
“Banner A” is telling the customer that we pay them “what it’s worth” for their jewelry.
“Banner B” (the one you are redesigning) is telling the customer that if they don’t love the offer, they can change their mind.
The Copy(not the same copy as the current site):
Headline: An offer you love--guaranteed
Text: There are no commitments. If you aren’t satisfied with your offer--no problem. Change your mind with just a click of a button. All costs are on us.
Do not take any design cues from the current banners on the website. They will be redesigned. You can incorporate the blue from the logo into your illustration.
I love clean looking designs. Let’s keep the illustration soft and friendly. But NOT cartoony. This is a business that people have to trust with their jewelry. Most of our customers are women. The website already looks too masculine. Feel free to incorporate hearts.
