Horse character for book illustration - option for 40 more illustrations

I‘m writing a book for grown-up horse lovers, mostly women.

I need a book character! :) I‘m writing a book from a horse‘s point of view, the style is funny and sometimes sarcastic. It‘s NOT a children‘s book. I would like to get a design for the main character. The book should be illustrated, so there will be a potential assignment for around 40 small illustrations after this contest. I would like a horse in a cute but not too silly style, with a simplified look. Alternatively, is an artsy watercolor, aquarell or lined style. The horse will be an arabian, they are moderately tall, not massive and have a slight bow in the nose. I will need many different facial expressions later on, so please make sure to design a suitable face. :) Please look at the examples and try in your style. Open for comic style, airbrush or watercolor as well. I‘m looking forward to seeing your idea!
