We deliver English training to companies in Japan.
What's your vision?
We want a one page design that shows a hiker (Asian/Japanese) climbing Mount Fuji at different stages to represent the amount of hours the student did studying homwork/attended classes/self-study. This is for a English learning course which is 48 weeks in total. Each week the student has 2 hours of courses, 2 hours of homework and 1 hour of study. We are looking for an interesting and fun way for the students to track their progress. The Mount Fuji climb is one idea....imagine you are a student and you did all the work for 2 weeks - so 4 hours of homework, 4 hours of classes and 2 hours of self-study...so you "climb" up the mountain for each hour. Students can then brag who has climbed the most. Mount Fuji has specific stages which makes this appealing. However, we are open to other ideas..but prefer a Japanese theme. Update 1: A4 Portrait size please.
Willing to discuss this in great length so please feel free to ask questions. Images: Hikers. Mount Fuji.

And then… they selected a winner!
Would I work with Nigel again?
Yes. Nigel was very responsive, understood my brief and delivered/suggested solutions that my team loved.
Did he provide any outstanding service?
Nigel followed up after the contest to make sure I had no problems with the files and even created a "how to" movie to make sure I could edit minor text changes.
I hope to work with him again. He brought my idea to life.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
