PartsTrader is an easy-to-use online marketplace that allows automotive trade buyers to find the right parts, at the right price, at the right time from new and recycled parts suppliers.
What's your vision?
The Design Brief Style/theme ideas: The event theme is inspired by the Bathurst 1000 race. The design should be Bathurst 1000 race-inspired https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bathurst_1000 Brand colours are #29a7e6 blue (primary) and #f76719 orange (secondary/accents). Black and white can be used as well, or other colours that relate to Bathurst that you feel are appropriate. Keep in mind, the t-shirts the design will be printed on will likely be black. We’re an IT team that builds and supports an automotive parts e-commerce platform operating in New Zealand and the United States. The t-shirt is for a company-wide “hackathon” event, where employees get to work on their own projects for two days. The event primary goal is to show how quickly the team can deliver/produce something of value. As a throwback to delivering quickly and automotive background, the event is called “Accelerate Day”. The text "Accelerate Day 2020" and "PartsTrader" must be included in the design. Other artifacts that may be relevant to the event are, but not limited to: Sprockets (to be attached), Car parts, Programmer jargon, Wellington (company headquarters in New Zealand), Chicago (company office in USA), Kiwi slang. Possible taglines to use: The Great Race
I've attached our PTML-logo (PartsTrader Markets Ltd). We do not require the logo to be on the design. On a previous years design, we placed the ptml-logo and gearsy1.png (our unofficial mascot) on the back of the tshirt. To learn more about us, check out our websites https://www.partstrader.com/ and https://www.ptml.com/ We used 99designs for the design for the 2017 event, this was the winner https://99designs.com/t-shirt-design/contests/design-killer-tshirt-themed-hackathon-event-744073/entries
