We are looking for a mascot and co-worker to help illustrate the key benefits of our solution. They should be eye-catching, memorable and fun though not too outlandish as our market is accounting professionals. We hope to differentiate our company by humanizing it in contrast to typically very conservative financial software organizations.
The primary use of these characters will be on our website slider (5 different poses). We would like them to be vector graphics if possible.
We have mocked up the slider concepts in the below“ Slider concepts” PDF document using images of children, which we would like replaced with illustrated characters. We are looking for illustrations of the characters in similar poses but do not require a layout of the text.
We would like to play off our “bean” theme, as some of our branding includes a beanstalk (see our webpage http://www.beanevo.com), with a mascot that embodies Jack from the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk.” We would like him and his clothes modernized, perhaps even as a hero type and/or maybe a nerd-type with glasses. His co-worker character should be female.
From "Slider Concept" PDF:
Pose 1 – Mascot (Jack) is whispering to “shocked” co-worker “Automation really is more efficient…” Under title: Work smarter- not harder
Pose 2 – Mascot is looking through binoculars “No more invoices hiding on approver’s desks.” Under title: Finally, the visibility you’ve always wanted.
Pose 3 – Mascot and co-worker are in a very flexible acrobatic pose “Our workflow is flexible so you don’t have to be.” Under title: You won’t need to contort your team for us.
Pose 4 – Mascot is holding large admission ticket (we are open to ideas for illustrating this key point) “You’ll be live in less than 30 days.” Under title: Pay as you go. No commitments.
Pose 5 – Jack smiling and relaxing in the “cloud” on our banner-see "Website Cloud Banner" PDF. (Our software is “internet cloud-based” software-as-a-service.)
We’ve also attached some image styles "Jack examples" PDF that we think could suit our company. We encourage you to start with the mascot in a single pose to get some initial style feedback from us
