What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
They key thing is a a podcast album cover. If we could out of that get some ideas or background imager we use so we can incorporate it into the website and social media that would be awesome. Bonus if you're willing to do one that is cut to the dimensions of a twitter background image!
The title of the podcast is Future State and it's hosted by Richard A Clarke. NYT bestseller, unbelievable speaker You can see more here. It will be 10 episode, interview style, covering the top issues we should be discussing going into the midterms. Airs from Sept 5 to Nov 10 (election day). Guests include Bill Clinton, Madeline Albright, Susan Rice, some big hitters. Here is a rough intro for the first episode to give you a feel https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_W4ml892rOON1EzZW5hT18xdUNzbFZHa2tkNEVuM0QtQWpn/view As far as the art goes, a couple different directions I was thinking about are: 1) government related imagery, which makes sense given the content of the podcast but doesn’t really seem like it could end up being super cool looking 2) super futuristic looking imagery (but in what respect? Blade runner type visuals?) which would jive well with the name but doesn’t really have much meaning 3) something that works on a deeper metaphorical level Personally I think cover art that somehow looks super futuristic would draw more people in (for those that just click a new podcast based on cool cover art). And also that if we went in the government direction, we might end up with something that looks corny (crumbling Washington monument, a picture of the White House with a crack through the middle of it, etc...). Overall we want it to feel optimistic. A bit cautious but not too forbidding. I've attached a bunch of images. I really like treatment 1. It has San Francisco in the background, I want one with Washington DC. I've attached a bunch of background images but feel free to pull others. Im not sure I LOVE any of them, but def want the Capitol building in it. Also as far as time of day. I was thinking sunrise is symbolically better but day / sunset / night I feel would look better.
