What's your vision?
Ameribotics is a non-profit robotics STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) education organization and the Official Organizer of the 15th International Robot Olympiad to be held in Denver, Colorado, USA, December 16-19, 2013 (5-19 years of age). It is necessary for the organizing country to create new mascots and scenes -- based on the event theme -- for use in publicizing the event. Graphics will be used in various forms, including however not limited to: website, website banners, very large to smaller scale printed banners at the competition venue, billboards, bumper stickers, letterhead, posters in schools around the world, etc. Component-based, layered graphics illustrations are best so that changes can be made for print formatting, etc. Vector-based graphics are also needed in addition to other common file formats due to very large scale printing needs.
The theme for the 15th International Robot Olympiad in Dec 2013 is: Robots in Agriculture: "How robots help provide sustainability for farms of the future". The use of existing mascots -- however, yours to modify or change completely if you’re so inclined! -- in an agricultural/ranch style scene. Two existing mascots and the IROC logo (orange and blue) are available for your use, and usually included in all Olympiads each year: "Ro-pi" and "Ro-ah" (http://www.ameribotics.org/iroc_logo_mascots.jpg). Also included is a copy of a previous Olympiad poster for continuity (http://www.ameribotics.org/IRO2010.jpg). The 2010 theme was: "Robots helping secure our water future". We are open to your creative expression and scenes, including mascots, and not limited to, ranch scenes/corrals/fences/ranch and farm animals/tractors/farm implements, etc. Again, the Olympiad is in Colorado, USA, which is the first American hosting of the Olympiad in its 15 years.
