We sell web-based software to commercial real estate managers. Our users include commercial tenants, building engineers, and property managers.

We are building a suite of software that allows commercial tenants to submit problems and requests -- think of it like a bug tracking system, but for buildings instead of for software. Issues can have types, such as "air conditioning too cold" or "light bulb needs to be replaced". For each issue type, we would like a custom icon that allows the issues to be distinguished visually. The icons should be simple and should scale well down to about 22 x 22 pixels and up to about 40 x 40 pixels. We think line drawings would be best for a clean look, but we are open to alternative suggestions. See the attached examples from Airbnb that give a good indication of the style we are looking for. The icons should look clean and professional.

For the first phase of the contest, please provide five icons. For the second phase of the contest, provide the rest of the icons. I've attached a document that contains a list of example issues in the first column. The second column contains some possible ideas for what the icon should show, although you shouldn't feel restricted to just those ideas. The third, fourth, and fifth columns are links to images related to the icon concept. These are just meant for inspiration -- you shouldn't feel limited to using these literal images. I have also attached some screenshots of icons from Airbnb that have the look that we are hoping to achieve.
