We are the national administrator for livestock traceability data in Canada. We are a not-for-profit, industry based organization. We are opening a web-based e-Commerce store to sell livestock ear tags to farmers and ranchers in Canada.
What's your vision?
I am looking for a logo for our e-Commerce website (not on line yet). This logo will also be used as a button for farmers to push to go from our existing website (www.canadaid.ca) to our new eCommerce site. We have a couple of registered trade marks (attached). The round yellow 'tag' with the half maple leaf could be used or the half maple leaf with the 'CA' inside could be used for this. Traceability is about tracking the movement of animals from one place to another. The logo should indicate movement (arrow/swish etc.). It is an e-commerce site that sells ear tags that look like the one attached or this: http://canadaid.ca/about_us/documents/CCIA-Approved%20RFID%20Tags_2012-05-04.pdf All tags are yellow with black numbers. My preference is to have a generic version of the examples in the pdf. It needs to be simple, indicate movement, and ties into our corporate look.
A design with a thick arrow modified to look like a rope or lasso in motion would be ideal - especially featuring an @ sign.
