Users can look up artworks with their mobile camera and leave comments at specific places within the image. The desired user content is comparable to forums like reddit, it may range from high quality content to jokes and memes. The target audience are people with an interest in art and art history, who are probably quite nerdy and mostly in their 20s and 30s.

An App Icon that is catchy, beautiful and somewhat illustrative of the use case. It needs to stand out next to other app icons on the home screen of a mobile phone. It should be especially different from the app icons of Instagram, Pinterest and Google Lens. Our associations so far have been: owl, (camera) lens, magnifying glass, hieroglyphs and lexicon.

The overall design of https://lexicam.app might be changed! So do not let the current design limit your ideas for the App Icon. The only restraint is that the overall design must look sort of neutral, so that users are happy to share content. The current icon is the Eye of Horus, a symbol from egyptian mythology. It looks neat but might not be optimal as an icon. The desired formats are svg and png.
