Target audience is 14 - 27. The app is a social networking/community sharing app.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like an app icon with a unique looking lower case letter c. I would like you to incorporate the theme of a city. I would like it if you used buildings to represent the city theme. For background colour a yellow/ orange tint I think would look nice. Also maybe try adding a unique texture to the background.
For the colour of the letter play around with white, black or the yellow/orange tint. See what looks best.
Other notes
Maybe you could use the buildings to outline the letter c or just have buildings in the background. Please look at the attachment picture, I really like the look of that icon.
