We're building educational mobile games for K-8 grade students.

We're seeking a new and improved app icon for our existing mobile game -- Freddy's Fractions, which is available for iOS and Android. In Freddy's Fractions players help Freddy a lovable turtle swim to collect correct fractions and avoid dangerous submarines. Please go see the game / screenshots so you can get a feel for it. Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/freddys-fractions/id658277591?mt=8 Creative Guidance: The icon should draw the viewer into the underwater world that the character inhabits. Portraying a "loveable" turtle is key. The player should want to "help" the main character. Portraying some action or movement in the icon will help give some meaningful depth, but the action or movement should give a feeling of "playful fun" NOT aggression or violence. Required: * We MUST receive the final artwork in layered PSD, AI and/or SVG format (for use with Inkscape) Nice-to-Have: * Prefer design with depiction of turtle main character. Artwork of turtle does NOT need to match existing artwork or the character in the game * Including the app name in the icon is NOT required. If the name can be accommodated in the icon that is ok, but not at the risk of disturbing a "playful fun" underwater scene. * Perhaps showing a "fraction" in the icon would be good, but not required Attached to this posting is the existing app icon which we are replacing.
