The main concept came from the client:

crushing it, the right hand is holding a very big knife that has slight blood on it.\"
So I rendered this in more of retro-ish style reminiscent of some horror covers and posters to balance the childish sight in a way more fitting to the genre and intended audience instilling a sense of discomfort by intense black and white on intense yellow BG.")
