However the previously used logo was rather generic and out of touch with bold and sleek logos of industry leaders such as Kohler, Grohe, Toto, etc.
Having decided to move the company into direction of more upscale products, the current owners required something that would reflect the new consumer-facing vision but also remain trustworthy to people within the industry - plumbers.
The result is modern, premium but also industrial, with a peculiar treatment of type that helps retain a conservative edge despite contemporary look. It balances the robust and sophisticated at the same time.")

Rebrands are not only an invitation to be bold; oftentimes they are an injunction to be so. Problems with GTC's existing lettermark had to be addressed, but more than that, I wanted to elevate the company and reach towards the iconic.
Submarines, ships and planes: military application air and sea vehicles. These are among the outputs GTC supplies systems and components for. I wanted a mark that could convey both, but be tied to neither. The mark should be organic and free flowing. This is a rebirth.
I arrived to this simple and distinctive mark. It speaks to flight, yet is ambiguous. Most importantly, it conveys an emotional frequency. It is serious, yet dynamic and evocative.
One of a number of directions explored, the client seized on it immediately. We did a lot of work subsequently to flesh out the brand ecology. I'm looking forward to seeing this mark out in the wild.")

Conscious of the aesthetics of the construction and real estate sectors, I created this mark that represents a wave form in a bold manner. The mark also plays on the form of the letter S. Simple, dynamic and strong, and fitting as an emblem in the construction and development industry.")

The mark is something the company decided on quickly, but the brand book took time, and we're both happy it did. You don't know a mark until you've worked with it enough. Sometimes primary choices, like typography and color, are slow to resolve. With each iteration we were getting closer, and the pieces of the jigsaw were falling into place.
GTC is rebranding after several decades. It's a big move for the company, and the goal is to set the firm more clearly on the national and international landscape.
Sober, professional and compelling, and topping out at 50 pages, the brand book arrived to do exactly what it should do: frame the evolution of the brand, and lay guidelines for its deployment and development.")

With my logo I wanted to create a visual counterpart to the innovative product. And it should transport the strengths of the Power-Cooling-Block visually. The polar bear expresses two core aspects: POWER and COOLING as it is a powerful and masculine animal that is synonymous with cold. The term \"BLOCK\" finds its correspondence in the square, whereby the rounded corners express the modern approach of the technique.")

Base on these requirement, I made that modern, professional, and still attractive. And use some graphic illustration to make the audience easy to understand.
Beside focus on the design, I also concern in usability, especially this project is for master template, so I will make sure that user can edit this deck easily even they aren't a designer")
