Logo design for a non-profit organization educating pet owners, specifically in rehoming their pets when no longer able or available to care for them.
The concept combines a simplified dog and cat head that look in opposite directions using negative space - a symbol for a transition, a parting of ways. The tone is mature and serious, as opposed to whimsical or childish, and appropriate for the weight of such a decision. The design has a retro/vintage undertone, a nod to the sense of \"home\", \"family\", \"good memories\" that is associated with a beloved pet.")

My solution:
The heart making its way across the soft watercolour globe represents to journey that parents and children make together, both in the process of families/children being matched together, and then the journey of getting to know each other and living together. In the words of the client: Where there is love, there is a way.
The hand drawn script gives the design a friendly, upbeat vibe. The simple, san serif keeps it relaxed and stable.")
