So I interpreted the old logo as a new modern one, combining an initial with a vine so that it looks like the S is growing and blooming and living.
A crown - again to remind of the old logo, but with five stones, to represent the 5-sided stone that is the cross-point of the five villages and the place where the wine is made.
I also did some variations of complementary graphics, that can form the whole brand look and feel.

I wanted to create something that had a sense of history and heritage, even though this department is relatively new. So I started with a custom monogram of interlocking C's. One of the great things about their name is that \"Central County\" and \"Fire Department\" are approximately the same length. It features a hand drawn anchor with a tool wrench instead of the traditional ring, to evoke not only the boats but also the building and repair part of the PNG brand.
The typographic elements are masculine and technical.
It is economical too, only needing one color to be printed.
This logo, while sophisticated, doesn't have any superfluous element and will easily stand the test of time, a proof of good taste and maturity.
The elements are versatile and easy to organize in vertical, horizontal or squared layouts.
