Bladewatch (url is http://www.bladewatch.com)
The bladewatch blog is all about IT news, 'how to' articles and best practice, we post 4-5 articles a day, it features video and text and gets read by vendors and end users alike.
I'm looking for a new professional design that's clean and easy on the eye.
Our readers are tech geeks, managers and cio's. They typically work in the financial and telecoms industries and use the site to keep up to date on news that's likely to affect their daily business (e.g. if HP or Dell buys one of their competitor, that can have huge technical implications for our readers). They also download our guides and links to specific areas of interest.
The site needs a nice clear, clean news frontpage. We usually post 4-5 articles a day and we'd like to have the ability to select 'headline' posts that are shown in a featured section with image.
As well as a 'featured posts' section, we'd like you to arrange the latest articles in a nice way. We are a blog/news site, so we'd like our layout to represent that.
Articles themselves should be clearly and attractively laid out. Please allow for different types/sizes of images to be included.
We've got an existing new logo (see the attachment). Also we're looking at having a sponsor (like the current one) so there needs to be a space to put that logo.
