GiveMeLiberty.tv
GiveMeLiberty.tv is a new startup blog that will be promoted through social media. It is a liberty minded, anti-government blog that will discuss government spending, personal liberty, and economics in an attempt to educate the readership and provide topical blog posts that will spread via social media. A mix of textual blog posts, interviews, and video will be used to spread the message, and the content will be presented in a persuasive manner in order to attract those who hold different opinions.
The target audience is US-based politically minded folks, although this topic draws plenty of flair internationally as well. The audience typically likes the Constitution and the US Founders, Ron Paul, libertarianism, Ayn Rand, and Austrian Economics. Some of these may play a role in the design, although it should be careful not to turn off those who have a different opinion, as the blog is not an exclusive group of people.
The typical reader is 24 - 40, male, and is mindful of business and economics.
A Wordpress theme is required for this blog, and it should capture the message of the blog. The site does not currently exist, so different approaches are appreciated.
Remember that the promotion of the site will be through social media, so Twitter applications and Facebook sharing options play their role.
An attempt was made to find political blogs that we liked, but that was difficult. Below are some sites whose design we appreciate, whether they be politically charged or not:

Simple and professional blog styles appeal to us as the blog starts out. We appreciate you and look forward to working with you!
