spencer T got their new character or mascot by running a design contest:
Robot Mascot for Social Media Analytics Service
Check out spencer T's Character or mascot contest…
The best way to schedule and manage social media profiles. Post Intelligence allows publishers to schedule their posts at the optimal time, provides detailed analytics beyond what's provided by the platforms themselves, feedback about social audiences, and even suggests content each audience will love.
What's your vision?
Because our product is abstract, we need a robot to personify our brand. The robot "knows" which posts do well and it's the robot that suggests content to users. We like the efficiency and sleek/sinister corporate feel of the original Verizon Droid commercials because our product will be aimed at Enterprise customers, but also appreciate the simplicity of the robots in Wall-E, NASA's Mars rovers, and the Androids in the films "Ex Machina," and "I, Robot" We'd prefer something genderless to a strongly male- or female-gendered robot, but we still want it to have enough personality to be memorable. We'd like something 3d, without being specific and detailed enough that we wouldn't be able to easily render it at small sizes. That means any character doesn't need to be photo-realistic (can still be a cartoon), but we're hoping to avoid crudeness. Please pay particular attention to the color scheme and robot-theme in the example image with the floating social-media icons on the blue/green gradient.
We're going to place the robot within the "Homepage.png" image on the left. You don't have to use the palette/visual style as a guide, but creating something we can drop in would be much appreciated!
