mtgmcquacks got their new character or mascot by running a design contest:
Illustrated Mascot For A Plumbing & Heating Company
Check out mtgmcquacks's Character or mascot contest…
We are are a plumbing & heating company in Alaska. The target audience for this mascot is homeowners who need plumbing & heating installation, repair and maintenance. It will be the central focus for a new social media campaign.
What's your vision?
We envision this mascot to be made of plumbing fittings and have assembled an example of “pipeman” in our shop. You have design freedom to add/remove/refine the plumbing pipes and pipe fittings, as long as it looks like he is assembled out of these parts - i.e., give him a new face, proportions, color, add parts that improve pipeman's agility, imparts personality and likability. It does not need to be rigid, or look exactly like the our assembled pipeman as shown in the photos. Regarding the head: fyi, we used an expansion tank part to imagine that this ball could be divided into a hat and head where his face would be under the middle separation. We are open to clothes and accessories. Desirable vibe & traits: lovable yet professional appeal (our company services both residential and commercial customers); convey strong, confident/competent character of a dad/father or warrior. We plan on having future adds: pipeman’s wife and family derivatives. We expect the social media and marketing campaign to be timeless, if the mascot design achieves the above attributes.
The attached images are of the pipeman we assembled, we've also included some Disney and other images that have styles we would like the mascot to be close to.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Character or mascot starts at $349.
