We are a polling technology company. Our mobile app lets friends, customers and communities vote on text and picture polls that users create--Which dress should I wear tonight? Which logo for my company do you like better? As you can imagine, “polling” is not all that sexy--but we’re making it social, simple and smart.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
In our app, we’d like to add a crowd of lemurs that embody “consulting your community”. Essentially, we’d like to make polling less intimidating and more fun. We'd like a few different lemurs to use in pop up messages throughout our app.
1. Success! - a lemur that expresses, "This is great, you did it!"
2. Are you serious? - a snarky lemur that is in disbelief at what just happened
3. A crowd - a few lemurs in a fun position to represent a community
We'd love for the lemurs to be designed with whimsy and sophistication in mind. It is very important that each lemur has a distinct personality, and they will vibe with the personality of our app (snarky, witty, funny, and smart).
One thing we've noticed is that the eyes and the tail play a huge part in the overall look of the lemur. Because the eyes are yellow, they can come off as aggressive and creepy. The tail is a very distinct feature of the lemur and could almost have a personality of it's own.
Thank you so much for taking the time to design our crowd of lemurs! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
