Replicon is a cloud-based software company that creates desktop and mobile applications that help businesses better track and utilize their time. We help companies do this in a number of ways: we help employees clock in and out, book time off, track their time, and manage projects against goals. At a higher level, we help supervisors to see what skills their employees have, how much time they have available for different projects, and analyze/see the outcomes of their current or completed projects against their projected timelines and financial spend. At the top level, we help companies stay compliant with the labor laws no matter where in the world their employees work, analyze the success or misses of top-level projects, and save time and money. What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We’re looking for a new “Time Intelligence” visual identity/mascot to represent our company and our category of expertise. We want an approachable, but intelligent design that tells our customers that we understand what they’ve struggled on in the past and how we can fix it in the future. Since Replicon Is a Business-to-Business (B2B) company, our visual identity needs to resonate with heads of company as well as users.
Rather than setting a category (like animal, object, human, plant, etc.), we want designers to be creative with their submissions and submit what they believe tells the story of being intelligent with their time.
We are not really looking for a clock (unless you have the best clock idea ever); we’re looking for a visual identity more like Salesforce’s Einstein or Zendesk’s Buddha to represent the idea of “Time Intelligence.”
To help you understand our brand, our main color schemes are Blue (#007ac9), Green (#32cc82), and Blue-ish Black (#324551). These are in no way required to be in the mascot design, but creating something that would compliment this color scheme would be helpful.
Attached are our brand guidelines only as an example of the type of design we aspire to. Please don’t feel the need to stay within the brand guidelines. We’ve also attached our current Time Intelligence Logo/Lockup for your reference.
