Check out patrick.farley's Character or mascot contest…
We rent construction equipment to large and small contractors in the U.S., Canada & Puerto Rico. Anything from large industrial equipment (backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, forklifts), medium size machines (scissor lifts, skid steers, generators, light towers), to small, hand-held tools (saws, hammers, pumps). Our website can be found here: http://www.bluelinerental.com/en
What's your vision?
We're looking for 100+ emoji related to the construction equipment industry. We’re breaking this contest into 2 separate requests: 1 for emoji of construction equipment and construction accessories, and 1 for emoji of construction equipment workers in various poses. This is the contest for the Construction Equipment Workers. For the initial entries, you don't need to design all 100+. At least 12 examples will do to start. Then we will pay you another $500 to do the rest if you win. • Each emoji should be simple and colorful, cartoonish versions of the descriptions listed below, and should look good at 200x200 pixels. • Transparent backgrounds are best. • The differences between the various emoji should be clear even at a small size. • In each image of a construction worker, they should be wearing a hard hat and a safety vest (you can just do a google image search for “safety vest” and see examples of them in neon orange and neon yellow). • Try and show images of both male and female construction equipment workers with different size body types. The emoji are meant to be shared in typical social messaging situations. As such, they should express specific feelings or situations. Humor is important. So even though the construction workers should be wearing hard hats and safety vests, it doesn’t mean they can’t be doing funny things or be put in funny situations. Some examples of the construction worker poses are below, but feel free to use your creativity and expand upon this list. EMOJI EXAMPLES: Construction workers... Close-ups of different expressions Standing with arms crossed Walking Using 90lb hammer Using concrete saw Using welder with welding mask Driving backhoe or forklift Digging a hole with excavator Pouring concrete Pumping out flooded home/street/hole Demolition of building Reviewing blueprints/schematics Fixing equipment Talking to coworkers Sleeping on jobsite Unloading equipment off trucks Flirting with opposite sex Shoveling dirt Driving delivery truck
