Creative mascot design for specialty coffee chain in HK

We are a new coffee chain + lifestyle brand that targets the 20-35 age group in HK and mainland China. We plan to operate a series of specialty coffee stores in the downtown or shopping districts of large cities. Our target audience will mostly be university students, young professionals, and other people who are just getting to know specialty coffee. We will also have a online presence in terms of marketing and ecommerce channels, and have plans to evolve beyond coffee in 3-5 years.

We are looking for a simple human stick figure character design that exudes casualness, friendliness, , humanity, and can evoke relatability in its viewers. The character should feel at home in all kinds of urban environments. It's simple enough to be reproduced physically by hand if needed, as in murals. Please design the mascot without the brand name. Also, the mascot does not need to be associate with coffee/cafe. Please note that colored backgrounds and different poses of the mascot are strongly encouraged.

We are looking for a simple design, something that looks and feels human, without possessing every single human details. The character should be unique, and simple enough to be modified or visualized into doing all kinds of different movements or things. Stik's paintings are the closest artwork we've found that conforms to our requirements, and you should use it as a major source of inspiration. The winning designer will be commissioned to make 4 more designs of the character in different environments or poses. Please design the mascot without the brand name.
