We are a health and fitness coaching company that provides 1:1 daily coaching and accountability. Our target audience are those that struggle staying consistent with their plan.
What's your vision?
We would like to create a full-body portrait / illustration (1:1 ratio) of the person in the attached photos. Our goal is to have a flattering image of this person that they will enjoy and want to share on social media. We interviewed this person in a series we call "How I Stay Fit," and would like the illustration to be health and fitness related. In terms of style, we would prefer something that leans towards a realistic style. We're not necessarily looking for realism, just something that's extremely flattering. I have attached two previous illustrations to serve as examples of what we're attempting to do.
The person in the attached photo is someone we have interviewed in a series called "How I Stay Fit." And we would like to incorporate some elements of their answers into the illustration. Here are interesting elements for this person: He just wrote a new book called "Plays Well with Others: The Surprising Science Behind Why Everything You Know About Relationships Is (Mostly) Wrong." An image of the book's cover is attached. To the question, "What do you like to do for exercise?" He replied: - "Strength training is paramount. I try to do relatively short bouts of lifting, compound exercises for the big muscle groups." - "I also try to do an hour of fast walking on the treadmill," and "I load up my iPad with TV shows that I don’t let myself enjoy outside of the gym." When it comes to health/fitness he says, "Consistency is everything." "Just show up and put in the work consistently."

I adore the work this designer did for me. It fits my aesthetic perfectly and matches the intention of my business. This designer is a pleasure to work with. It was as if they could read my mind. I will certainly be engaging them for more design work and I could not recommend highly enough.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
