Create a fun character for Mantelligence's YouTube channel

What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We make the best content online for men who want to become better, more intelligent men. We focus on written content on our blog (https://www.mantelligence.com), and video content on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/mantelligence). Our guys (the guys who read/watch our content) are younger (18-35), tech savvy (often millennials), ambitious (they want to be the best versions of themselves), and fun (and like to be entertained/have fun).
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
First, to be clear, we know a lot of what we want, but we're on 99designs because we want to see your creativity bring our design-goals to life! What we're looking for is a character for our YouTube channel. Our goal is to not only add a consistent/trustworthy face to the videos, but also to give us a character that we can animate to add humor to our vids. We've provided more specific details on what we're looking for in the next section, as well as some popular characters + people on YouTube in our industry. We would love if you take our specifics below, and combine it with a look that is similar to the attachments. We do hope that there are elements of those attachments, but that it is VERY clearly not a 'copy' of any of them (except our logo). Also, please at the bottom of the next section, please see #3, titled 'WHAT WE (SPECIFICALLY) DON'T WANT A CHARACTER THAT'.
I thought I would use this section to focus on more specific things we're looking for... #1: SPECIFICS FOR THE CHARACTER - Age of character should be about 25-35 - BUT age should be somewhat ambiguous (you shouldn't be able to look at him and say, "oh he's young" OR "man, he's old") - Focus should be on his face - Should be friendly/relatable (we like to think of him as a friendly big brother/mentor) - Want him to seem strong/authoritative, but also able to be 'funny'/jovial - Should look American (not foreign) - BUT, like above, his exact ethnicity should be somewhat ambiguous - Should look masculine/manly, but has sense of style (think like a mix between James Bond and a cowboy) - Hair color should be brown (think like chestnut) - if you go with a beard, use stubble over a full beard - athletic body/build, attractive face - White eyes with a different color iris (either black or brown (any shade (darker is likely better)) #2: SPECIFIC DESIGN ELEMENTS - Avoid ‘kiddish’ looking cartoon-design style. The character style should look like he belongs on a cartoon for ADULTS… NOT a cartoon for kids! - Flat design (note: 2d FLAT, not 2d realism or other) - Needs to be clean, simple - IMPORTANT: Should look UNIQUE, different, and instantly recognizable (but, with that, it shouldn't be TOO much (it should be subtl) --> - ideally, some part of him (the hair, the beard, the face) OR your design style should be highly unique (BUT this uniqueness should be subtle) - Fits our existing design, somewhat naturally (see our logo attached, and please visit https://www.mantelligence.com) - Looking for different facial expressions (confused, happy, sad, scared, funny (think what will help us add humor here)) - Looking for different outfits (1 = something more casual (like AlphaM or JoseZ would wear)... 2 = something dressier (like a fitted suit)) #3: WHAT WE (SPECIFICALLY) DON'T WANT A CHARACTER THAT - is a COPY of any of the attachments (other than our logo) - looks like a metrosexual or a dandy - is nerdy, timid, outdated, or pretentious - is too cute, cutesy, love-y, playful, etc. - is a hipster - is too... hip, cool, trendy - has a mask/hidden face - is an overly 'buff'/strong guy - is a lumberjack - looks foreign (looks non-American/western)
