Brought completely different ideas to the contest (that we ultimately chose as winning designs) and was great/quick in turning our feedback around.
Kate is wonderful to work with. She's talented and professional. We look forward to continuing to work with her!
AMAZING! <3 He kept it simple and communicated effectively so we could get the perfect design. <3

Just as background, we are a German couple, but have been living in Cambridge (UK) for 11 years (after meeting whilst studying in Maastricht / the Netherlands). We are (finally, as some of our parents may say) getting married on 29 August 2020.
For the wedding, we are now looking for a „Save The Date card“, and a matching template for the wedding invitations (to be filled out at a later date). Both should be A6 format (unless you have a very good reason to choose a different size), the Save the Date should be a single sheet, but the wedding invitation should be folded once (i.e. effectively an A5 size, folded once to create an A6 card).
It should be easy to adapt the cards such that they can be written in both German and English, as we will have friends & family coming to the wedding from all over Europe.
Regarding the design of the cards - the wedding is supposed to be a fun event (i.e. not an overtly formal / serious affair) – we would like to use bright / lively colours (we have added a set of colour schemes that we like to the briefing, for you to get an idea). Our background (as well as those of our friends) bring an international element to the event, which could be reflected in the invites/theme. Finally, we would not mind a certain „retro/vintage“ element (which could be reflected in the choice of font). During our research, we have come across the notion of „classy, but unpretentious“ – that may summarise our thoughts in quite a nice way.
Some details which you may want to introduce into your template design - Our names are Birgit (Penzenstadler) and Marc (Eschenburg). The wedding will take place at the „Hotel Restaurant Am Krickenbecker See“ (http://www.krickenbecker-see.de/) on 29 August 2020. There will be events in the week leading up to the wedding (e.g. a so-called „Polterabend“ on Thursday night and some sightseeing around that). The „Save The Date“ should capture the mere fact that there will be some events before the wedding and that we would be happy for our friends & family to join us for these (with more details about the actual plan for the week to be provided on the actual wedding invite / via wedding website). At this stage, we are more focused on design and can fine-tune the text as part of the review of any design (i.e. use boilerplate text for the moment where you miss info or just send us a quick follow-up question).
RSVP-ing should be done via the website / app that we will develop in parallel. The URL is https://withjoy.com/eschenstadler-hochzeit.
The set of colour schemes can be seen here: https://pin.it/7n3mry3d6f4rut We quite like the colours but remain open to suggestions if you come across certain views during your design phase.
