About us

We want to create an invitation for Melanie's 40th Birthday party. Melanie is a fun, outgoing Dallas socialite that is looking to bring several hundred of her "closest" friends together for a fabulous party on the rooftop of a hip Dallas hotel - the Joule - in mid-may 2015. There will be a hip DJ there and the main thrust of the party will simply be drinking and dancing.

What's your vision?

We want to create an invitation for Melanie's 40th Birthday party. That invitation should excite our guests and create a brand/image identity for the party (basically, a logo effect). Melanie is generally partial to oranges and pinks when it comes to parties. I would like to be able to extract the "identity" image for a step and repeat.

The theme of the party is Forty and Fabulous. The dress code is Fabulous Frocks. The party is at the Joule in Dallas - thejouledallas.com - and we would like compliment their style. The DJ is well-known in Dallas and her website is lucywrubel.com.
