Create a Jazz Festival illustration to be used for posters and invites

We are an EDA (Electronic Design Software) firm.

I'm looking for a flyer/invitation graphic to use for a Jazz Festival that we will be hosting in June. I would like it to be bold and bright. Listing the date (June 16th, 2016) - no time needed. I would like to be able to use the graphic image for a Save the Date, and then also for posters to be shared campus wide. The only wording I need is: Cadence RnD Jazz Festival June 16th, 2016

I will need to be able to add more information to to the graphic (such as time, and details).. I think that our marketing department can take the final artwork and then add to this. (not exactly sure how that works though!) The only color that I need to not be prominent is purple (this is our competitors color and some people are very sensitive in a weird way about it!).
