mikeauerbach got their new car, truck or van wrap by running a design contest:
Vehicle wrap for local Smart Home Security company
Check out mikeauerbach's Car, truck or van wrap contest…
We are a home security and automation (Smart Home) company that also does surveillance cameras. We are based out of San antonio, hence the Alamo name.
What's your vision?
A wrap for a 2018 Dodge Promaster City van. This is ideally covering the front/sides/back without needing to do the top. We can do the top if need be but ideally leaving that white. Here's a questionaire that a designer sent in, i'll post my answers below: 1. Define the purpose for the wrap in writing, only one purpose, be specific. Do this for each side if necessary. The rear, followed by the driver's side, is the side with more exposure in traffic and while parked in neighborhoods while the passenger side is recommended for a message for your residential customers. Proceed to the following steps with this purpose in mind. Drive traffic to the website through increased brand recognition Slightly more details on the back, but roughly the same as the sides 2. List every element (logo, service, image, symbol, phone, email...) you can think of possibly including on the wrap. Logo w name Phone number (maybe not as the featured element, like on the door or in the corner) I’d prefer to push to website and QR code as I think its tough to write down a number while driving, most people just search) website QR code Smart Home Security - Surveillance - Sound - Solar I’m thinking something like Locally Owned and Operated should be on there but might be too busy Not sure if we want to do this but would like it mocked up as a bubble that has a call to action. On the back could put a call to action: Monitoring starting at $19.99 Needs to have Tx Lic. B05229001 on it 3. Define the Primary Element or Main Message, the one thing you want people to see if they see nothing else. The Brand (and recognizing that its local) and the services offered 4. Define the Secondary Element or Secondary Message, the second thing you want people to see if they only see 2 elements. A call to action, QR code/Website link 6. Determine the additional Must-Have information (usually contact information). Website URL, QR code, phone # tucked away, company license 7. Eliminate EVERYTHING else. 8. List your preferences in regards to color scheme, graphical approach, concepts, etc. to be considered. Blue + White + gray/black as primary colors https://99designs.com/profiles/375879/designs/1800314 https://99designs.com/profiles/theanungs/designs/1903035 https://99designs.com/profiles/erika00/designs/1140224 Some examples of more what I like. Hope that helps
