We are looking for a parlour-style design (full wrap) to be pressed onto our 1996 P-30 step van with base colouring as well as lettering (photos attached). We are aiming for a CLASSIC VINTAGE RETRO look with a modern freshness, very streamlined and simple...Base colour schemes we have discussed include pale, retro pastel colours such as baby blue, robin's egg blue, baby pink, pastel lavender, pastel peach, and/ or cream...Black could be used sparingly to enhance or outline lettering, if deemed appropriate. We are also very open to select panels that have vertical stripes with an old-fashioned feel (see attached photos). We want our business name 'Daydream' to be on each side of the truck (in large lettering) as well as on both the front and back (in smaller lettering)...Our wish is for the following design idea to come to life. On BOTH sides of the truck, centred in the middle will be a waffle-style ice cream cone, the ice cream portion being a fluffy CLOUD (as in Daydream) and perhaps a rainbow somehow emerging out of part of the cloud (the emphasis on the cloud cone though)...Sitting atop the the ice cream cloud will be a small cute fox with large ears (our ice cream mascot!!!) taking a nap on the cloud...Then, in large, retro curved lettering our name Daydream would be arching over the cloud...and at the bottom, on either side of the tip of the waffle cone it would say 'ICE CREAM' '& FROZEN TREATS' (See terrible hand-drawn sketch attached for a rough idea)...On the RIGHT SIDE of the truck, we will be installing a sliding window in the centre (approx. 3 x 5 feet); please take note of this when thinking of the layout, particularly for the right side. On a small corner on both sides of the truck should be easily legible links to our social media ('Daydream Ice Cream' on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)...Lastly, on one or both of the front doors, our slogan, "Don't Quit Your Daydream" could be written. Although we have a vision, we are somewhat flexible, and are wanting to see what the designers come up. We're very open to feedback.
