Tarot Suit Icons

Our client needs icons for the four suits (wand, cup, sword and pentacle) of the Tarot. These are for a print project. They also need a border that works well with the suit's icon style.

Ourclient is a metaphysical company producing a Tarot related product.  Theyneed icons for the four suits of the Tarot.  These suits are wands, cups,swords and pentacles.  They are looking for the designer to create oneicon for each of these suits.  The icons should be simple butstylized.  An example of the kind of artwork wanted is similar to art at http://www.mcmenamins.com/. Checkout their Newsletter art!  We oftendescribe their style as "Dark Carnival" and our client is looking fora similar style.

Thesecond part of this project is designing a simple and stylized border thatlooks good with the Tarot suit icons. 

Specifics:These graphics are to be used for print and they need to have aresolution between 400 and 600dpi, the color settings must be CMYK notRBG. Please send the graphics to us in some kind of vectored editable formatsuch as PNG or your original working file.

- Cup icon
- Sword icon
- Pentacle icon
- Icons should be about 1.5 inches (print size) that can be scaled 50% up or down
- Border Art about .25 inch wide
- "Dark Carnival" style (late 1800s Carnival, elegant)
- "Classic" Renaissance or Medieval style
- "Antiqued" look
- Muted Earth tones

- No Clowns, Gothic Horror, etc.
- No clipart
- No bright or pastel colors
