Skipity
Skip + Serendipity = Skipity: The Serendipity Engine.
Skip: [skip] verb: To pass from point to point, omitting or disregarding what intervenes.
and
Serendipity [ser-uhn-dip-i-tee] noun: An aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident.
How it works:
1. Pick categories
2. Press the Skipity Button
3. Get sent to great web pages based on your interests.
Press Skipity Button Again, get taken to another great site.
Skipity: It's the best way to find what you didn't know you were looking for.
We want a button 22 pixels Tall and between 66 and 80 pixels wide.
It will go in between the Blue search box and the Facebook "F" in the attached PSD "Toolbar-Layout-Contest".
See above for what the Skiptiy Button does.
The Goals:
1. Convey what Skipity Does: See above.
2. Intrigue people enough to Click the Button a first time.
3. Professional Enough to make the user feel comfortable about this button being on their toolbar.
The perfect button would be one that the highest percentage of people clicked after seeing the toolbar installed (and the button for the first time). Skipity will succeed if the Skipity button increases how long the average user leaves a browser toolbar installed.
Important: Pleas submit all as a 24 bit rendered png of the "Toolbar-Layout-Contest" with your button in place. If you want to demonstrate multiple colors of the same concept, please place these designs on a sheet like the "multiple-color-exhibit.png" attached.
Using the word Skipity in the Design Not Necessarily required (but probably a good idea).
The final deliverable must be a layered vector (.ai file) and a png.
