Ilaria.la.regina did a great job creating iPhone and iPad icons for my application. I was not sure exactly what I wanted, but had an idea about what I wanted to convey. Illaria came up with a great concept and worked with me on refining it to match my vision. Thank you!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are developing a range of iPhone and iPad applications for home and business use. Since we cross both fields, I want to a little light-heartedness in our positioning without being silly.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A package of app icons for an iPhone, iPhone 4, and iPad application. The icons should be the same image in different sizes:
57x57 px (iPhone)
114x114 px (iPhone 4 and 4S)
50x50 px (iPad)
72x72 px (iPad)
512x512 px (App store)
The application allows users to snap a picture, run text and image recognition on the picture, and turn the picture into a sort of locale-aware hyperlinked/annotated document. The links take the users to additional information about whatever is in the picture. The application icons should convey the idea of using a picture to look up information on the web.
I tend to like simplicity: a clean, crisp image. The icon should not look cartoonish since that makes me think of games rather than productivity apps.
