iPhone App icon - Meditation Timer

Design a beautiful but simple and clean icon for our meditation timer called Meditator, and a slight variant for a sister (lite) app called Meditate. Please read brief for more information.

The icon defines the brand for an iPhone App. We are SimpleTouch software makers of Meditator a leading Meditation Timer for iPhone. We need a beautiful but simple icon for Meditator. The icon must be appealing and standout from our competition. Please do the research and search for Meditation timer on iTunes. We consider most of the icons you see from this search to be extremely poor. Also see our product page at http://www.simpletouchsoftware.com and select meditator.
Possible themes include, a silhouette of a meditating person, lotus flowers, time symbol, a meditation cushion, a clock or Om symbol some combination of these , or something we have not thought of. A frame of some sort around the icon is suggested but not a must, again please do the research as to what makes a good icon specifically for iPhone, and use what Apple has done as a guide to some best practices. - Please read description for possible ideas- We like clean and simple, but very high quality!- Graphic quality that equals Apple Quality- Radical simplicity is good- Good contrast- The icon must be pre-rendered, that is to say no shine effect will be added by Apple.- Small icon: 57 Px Square 72 ppi, RGB Flattened, no transparency, 24 bit PNG image file format - Large Icon: 512 px square 72 ppi, RGB, flattened, no transparency, High Quality JPG or TIFF image file format.- All source files must be provided, this icon must be designed in Photoshop or Illustrator- an example of what the icon would look like rendered on the phone (to scale)- Show a variant of the icon design that will be used for the sister (lite) app called Meditate (to scale)

- Do not round the corners on the final artwork, but can be done for samples to see how the final icon will look rendered on the phone- No words or letters on the icon please- Do not use our current interface as inspiration for look and feel, as this is going to change- Original artwork only no stock images please
