We would like a set of application icons for our first iPhone app in development. It is called Copilot, and it shows you your agenda for the day. To learn more about the app features, you can see the website: http://copilotcalendar.com - which is unfinished, but the feature descriptions are there. You can also see our company home page to get a little more background: http://netorion.com.
I think that this is going to be an app that people will use frequently throughout the day, so I would like it to be simple and easy to find in a busy iphone home screen.
For the design, I really like simple things, I like subtle textures, and I like deliberate use of color to highlight something key. You can probably tell that most of my designs have chrome and extraneous information in various shades of grey, with the actual content contrasting in more overt tones. So, I guess I'm trying to say, don't be afraid to use color and be bold.
In addition to this brief, I've also included a couple screenshots of the application in action, as well as the temporary icon that I created during development. The temp icon is okay, but it doesn't really meet the design criteria I set out above.
There are also a whole lot of calendar apps, so I would like something that stands out a little bit from the crowd.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work and beautiful designs, I can't wait to see them!
I would like the final deliverable to be in PNG format, and come in these sizes: 57x57, 114x114, 512x512
