Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We will soon be releasing a music application for DJs. The product will initially be released on the Mac, with future plans to release for PC. Screenshots and demo are available at http://www.apollovibes.com.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like something that combines the space connotations of Apollo with musical elements related to DJing. Ideas for representing Apollo include (but are not limited to) the moon, rockets, stars, astronauts. Ideas for music include (but are not limited to) headphones, sound waves, musical notes. I do not want the app name, Apollo Vibes, as part of the icon.
This icon is for Mac OS X, not the IPhone or IPad. Icon should be 512x512 for Mac App Store.
Color palette includes purple, gray, orange, gold, black, and white (see screenshot).
