I just want to say that Hanz is an absolutely amazing designer. Not only was he the winner of our contest, he had the winning template designed in under 8 hours (of the contest starting) including the sub page. Maybe 2 extra hours for final tweaks at the end of contest. He also needed the least direction out of all the other designers.
We will certainly be hiring Hanz the next time around. We intentionally used a limited detail brief to test designers abilities with limited direction. He far exceed our expectations and came up with an amazing design.
A grade of A+ wouldn't do him justice. So much better than that!
How MonoMachines started their button or icon journey
We are an office supplies internet retailer. We sell office machines like paper shredders and paper cutters.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell mostly to secretaries in large offices or in govt. offices.
If you go to our homepage http://www.monomachines.com you will see our current logo with the monkey in it. We want to keep the same "feel" and facial characteristics of the monkey (smile etc.) and make him 3-D and more web 2.0. We need the full body of the monkey in different positions so that we can place him on different products like shredders, as well as a straight-on profile that will replace the monkey in our current logo (the logo text will stay the same).
Please message me with any questions or if you want a copy of the AI logo that we currently use. Here is a link to the AI version of our logo. http://www.monomachines.com/images/…ibility.ai
