iramcdonald got their new business card by running a design contest:
Design Business Cards & Letterhead for a Brand-Savvy Construction Company
Check out iramcdonald's Business card contest…
YOUR (PRIMARY) JUDGE: - This contest is being managed by our Inside Sales & Marketing person (Zack), who has participated in 99Designs contests as a designer. Feel free to ask questions and submit preliminary designs for feedback – Zack understands the creative process and how important it is to get feedback early and often. ------------------------------------------------------------------ We’ve attached pictures of some examples of things we like and things we are moving towards. Traditionally, the company colors have been Orange (PANTONE 158C) and Black (K=100%), and although we are looking to keep the Orange, we are open to other secondary and tertiary colors. The font we’re currently using for titles can be found at the link below, but feel free to substitute using ChunkFive, or another font that you think would better represent our brand. We’re always open to new ideas. (CURRENT) FONTS: Titles: https://next.fontshop.com/families/futura-display-ef Secondary: Arial Black (headings) & Minion Pro (body text) BUSINESS CARDS: - Feel free to propose alternate/unique cardstock on business cards - Feel free to propose unique shapes, die-cuts, etc. - “Building Vision and Value” is something we’d like to see worked into the design. STATIONERY: - We’re looking for creativity here, as this will be the launching point for a full brand refresh. Go wild. - If you wanted to show how the letterhead might look on 8.5’x11’ as well as envelopes, that would be amazing. - "Building Vision and Value" is something we’d like to see worked into the design. ATTACHED PICTURES: - IMC Square (BV&V) and IMC Square: Logos without the company name - example - covers.png: This is a picture from 'Adventure Films', a project on Behance. We like the idea of using heavy-stock orange stationery. - example-binding.jpg: We like the idea of incorporating visual and functional aspects of the construction industry into our branded materials and collateral, and are looking for more ways to do this. This is also a picture from 'Adventure Films', a project on Behance.
Brand name to include on the business card
