similar color scheme as our website (valleychristiancounselingcenter.com) but it doesn't have to perfectly match - looking to upgrade that feel in the not too distant future. We are more focused on the feel of our marketing being what "results" from counseling and not so much the extremely clinical feel of counseling rooms and such. So...our mission being to help people become more fully alive is how we want the brochure to feel. Not that there can't be a stock photo or something of a counseling session...we just definitely do not want that to be the focus. We want it to be more about what happens when they leave the counseling office. Some of the words we use when thinking branding are: Authentic Uplifting Sweet (like Jesus) Purposeful Relatable Hopeful Contemplative There is a new picture on our main page on our website that sorta depicts the feel we are going for. Wide open spaces. We want a clean, life-giving look to the brochure.
What to avoid
as i have already said...less focus on the clinical...but we want professional...just more emphasis on LIFE and less emphasis on the stuffy counseling room.
