Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
18+, all gender identities, people who know someone who has been sexually assaulted and are looking for help and support in the aftermath. We want the book to be gender-neutral (not feminine-leaning) in look and to reflect a soft, warm, welcoming style that is not harsh or overly aggressive in its impact. Our readers will come from all walks of life in terms of location, education level, etc., but will ultimately be concerned with helping their loved one heal from sexual trauma.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the brochure?
Single-Layout PDF. Please see attachment for specific colors to be used. See http://www.asoneproject.org for visual style/current "look" and "feel" of our organization.
Brochure to design
30 page booklet -- for this contest please just do the cover and the first chapter
8.5x11 so that it can be accessed both as an e-book but also printed out
What to avoid
Nothing too gender-specific. The look should be clean, easily digested, readable, and accessible. We want the look to be distinctive but not too artsy. The focus should be on the content.
